Acting under the Rectorate, Department of Physical Education aims to develop the physical activity and sport participation and skills of the students of Istanbul Technical University. Accordingly the Department offers physical education and sports classes which are freely available for all under-graduate students. The aim of the physical education and sports classes is to increase the participation in sports and make the physical activity and sports a part of students’ life. These classes provide an opportunity for ITU students to get involved with physical activity and sports to protect their physical and mental health and to spend their free time in a healthy way. |
