Course Objectives This course aims,
1. to provide to perceive the notion of performance by cultural and artistic interfix
2. to improve thinking about the relations between cultural practices and artful structures and
provide to make sense of social circumstances in that context.
3. to provide to add meaning about the positioning of body within performance, music and
dance.
Course Description Notion of performance, cultural and artful performance, performance in daily life, music and
dance as performing arts, cultural practices and art experiences, relation between form and
structure, cultural and bodily contents in music and dance, performance and body.
Course Outcomes Students who pass the course will be able to:
I. comprehend the Notion of performance as cultural and artful facts.
II. perceive the relation between cultural life and art productions
III. make analogies from the contents of music and dance
IV. rethink and reinterpret the social facts over performance, music and dance
V. think about the bodily expressions in music and dance in the context of performance.
