Course Objectives		Learn engraving.
Course Description		Comparative definition of engraving to painting and sculpture, Examination and experimentation on traditional instruments in creating basic visual elements, Relationship between aesthetics and technics, Engraving and general definition of the “original”, Plastic applications on the plate and characteristic of the plate as a conveyer and a transfer instrument, Features and preparation of the final conveyer, Use of the printmaking pres, Personal hypothesis’ on plate and instruments, research on expressing with contemporary materials.
