PEM 411E - Landscape Design IV

Course Objectives

The aim of this studio is to adapt Beykoz's industrial heritage to the urban landscape, while also producing design decisions that will transition the city to a linear 'take-make-dispose' model to circular closed-loop systems.

Course Description

In the 2023-2024 spring semester Landscape Design IV Studio, students will evaluate Beykoz's industrial heritage in the context of a circular city. In this direction, analyzes will be made in line with natural and cultural components, then the industrial heritage and local features of the city will be functionalized to contribute to circularity, and design suggestions will be developed in different scales considering other components of the city.
