Course Objectives

1. To understand natural and technological phenomena and their impacts.
2. To analyze nat-techs and multiple hazards.
3. To define different types of vulnerability at urban and regional scale and to reveal their interractions.
4. To develop economic losses and risk evaluation analyses using hazard and vulnerability components.

Urban safety against natural hazards, Geological, hydrological, atmospheric and biological hazards Na-techs and technological hazards, Territorial, environmental and urban vulnerability Physical, social, economic and institutional vulnerability, Risk perception.
