Course Objectives To equip students with the necessary tools (probability, statistics, modeling and basic simulation concepts) that will enable them to model, design, implement and analyze simulation systems using high level programming languages, simulation languages or simulation packages.
Course Description Types, purposes and uses of simulation studies; fundamental concepts of probability and statistics; random number generation, transformation and testing; approaches to model building; modern simulation languages and packages; planning of experiments and analysis of results.
Course Outcomes 1. Ability to design a simulation system;

2. Ability to implement a simulation system;

3. Abilitiy to use contemporary simulation tools;

4. Designing experiments for testing;

5. Analysing simulation and test results.
