JEO 438 - Environmental Geology

Course Objectives

Analyzing environmental problems in terms of geoscience and making suggestions for their solution.

Course Description

Environmental Geology; for existing and planned human settlements;
i) researching the surface-underground geological conditions in a region within the framework of engineering geology methods and techniques,
ii) revealing the natural environment/artificial environment interaction with its positive and negative aspects,
iii) determining the most suitable places for the artificial environment in the region,
iv) It is a branch of science and engineering that predicts possible problems and performs analysis and calculations to assist in solution design.
