Course Objectives		I. Presentation of basic theoretical information on occupational health and safety for those who will carry out technical survey activities; II. The basic obligations within the framework of national and international legislation and technical safety rules, teaching, III. Giving information on the causes, consequences and prevention of possible occupational accidents and diseases with examples of good and bad practice, IV. Giving safe work culture.
Course Description		Informing about national and international legislation and technical safety rules for those who will take part in technical survey activities; dealing with good and bad practice examples.
Course Outcomes		Students who pass the course will be able to: I. learn the general requirements of the SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea). II. learn the basic concepts of occupational health and safety in survey activities. III. learn about occupational accidents, occupational diseases and prevention methods in survey activities. IV. learn the safety culture; and prevention of dangers and risks for safety in survey activities.
