Course Objectives To teach fundamental numerical methods by theoretical and algorithmic ways.
To earn qualifications of mathematical modeling and its numerical analysis.
To analysis error of numerical methods.
To examine and analysis experimental data as numerical data.
Course Description Mathematical Background and Error Analysis. Root Finding Problems. Solution of Nonlinear Systems. Curve Fitting, Interpolation, and Extrapolation. Finite Difference Methods. Numerical Differentiation. Numerical Integration. Numerical Solution of Ordinary Differential Equations. Numerical Solution of System of Ordinary Differential Equations.
Course Outcomes Students completing this course will be able to:
Fundamental numerical methods,
Mathematical modeling,
Error analysis,
Examining experimental data numerically,
Constructing algorithms.
