Course Objectives 1. To provide the concepts and applications of the convergence of sequences and infinite series .
2. To provide the applications of partial differentiation and multiple integrals.
3. To give an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics on engineering
Course Description Infinite sequences and series, Vectors in Space,Vector-Valued Functions, Multivarible Functions and
Partial Derivatives , Multiple Integrals, Integration on vector fields .
Course Outcomes Students completing this course will be able to :
I. Compute limits of sequences and series; determine the convergence of the series and the radius of
convergence of power series.
II. Represent a known function as a Taylor series; approximate a known function with a Taylor
polynomial and determine the error involved.
III. Compute the standard representation of a vector in 3-space, compute
