Course Objectives

To give knowledge on textile testing and give idea about quality and comparison.
• Ability to measure the properties of the major textile materials with regard to
process and quality control.
• Examination of quality criteria and standards.
• An ability to design and perform the quality of textiles.

Course Description

Quality concept. Sampling. Physical and chemical testing of textile materials produced in
various forms ranging from fiber to garment. Preparation of quality cards. Quality labels
and quality certificates
