Course Objectives
1.To introduce students to the basics of scientific calculation concepts
2.To develop problem solving skills

4.To teach students how to use problem solving programs in scientific and engineering calculations

Course Description
Introduction to Scientific and Engineering Computing, Introduction to Computing Environment in Programming, Variables, Operations, Simple Graphics, Algorithms and Logic Operators, Flow Control, Errors and Source of Errors, Functions, Linear Algebra, Applications, Simple Equation Solving Applications, Polynomial Examples, Curve Fitting Applications, Interpolation Applications, Numerical Integration Applications, Symbolic Mathematics, Solutions of Ordinary Differential Equations with Ready-made Functions
