Course Description

Energy concept; energy types, principles of energy conversion. The use of all primary energy of the fuel and improving efficiency. International rules related ship energy efficiency. Energy efficiency of ships and their propulsion systems. The utilization of waste heat in ships. Efficient operation of ships and their engines.
