Course Objectives

The last earthquakes have taken place throughout the world and the damaged buildings have shown the importance of structural system arrangement. In that class, the structural systems and important aspects in the design of mid and high-rise structures are explained. The structural systems of roofs and industrial facilities are investigated.

Intoduction, pre-design of structural systems and general considerations, loads, design of slabs, principals of structural system arrangement, high rise buildings, joints, design of roofs, superficial load bearing systems, industrial structures, prefabricated structures
