Course Objectives		Pavements deteriorate significantly without finishing the service life of them under the influence of increasing traffic and axle loading today. Therefore, the new technologies on pavement must used. This course take an advantage very much on solution the problems in practice in respect of introducing these new technologies.
Course Description		Methodology of Pavement Type Selection, Surface Dressing, Asphaltic Concrete Pavements, Aggregate-Bitumen, Production and Application of Bituminous Mixtures, Performance Evaluation of Bituminous Mixtures, Stone Mastic Pavements, Physical and Mechanical Properties of Bituminous Mixtures and Effects of Mixture Design and Application on these Properties, Modified Bitumen, Catbec Asphalt and Emulsified Asphalt, Porous Pavements/Slurry Seal Pavements/Recycling of Bituminous Mixtures, Bituminous Mixtures Design by SUPERPAVE Method, Cement Concrete Pavements
