Course Objectives		1. To teach fundamentals of simulation and simulator concepts. 2. To teach use of simulator and simulation at maritime research and training activities 3. To teach assessment methods of simulation and simulators outcomes.
Course Description		Simulation and simulator concepts both practical and theoretical aspects according to IMO Model Course 6.10. The importance of simulator and simulation in maritime training and research activities, simulator design and types of simulators in the maritime field, scope of simulator training, research and simulator instructor, conceptualizing simulator training and research schedule, effective interpersonal and communication skills, conducting simulation exercises for training and researches and assessment of simulator implementation.
