Course Objectives It is the selection of appropriate systems for the transportation of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products in and out of the facility, the design of their construction and elements, and the design of material flow and economical transportation methods in industrial facilities.
Course Description Determination of transport machinery design parameters; Design of transport machine in accordance with industrial facility plans; design of chains and chain mechanisms; design of tensile conveyors; design of conveyors without traction elements; design of fluid carriers; material mobility and facility layout.
Course Outcomes Students who successfully complete this course;
a) Transport machines can determine design parameters.
b) Can make escalator construction.
c) Can design a conveyor with traction element.
d) Can design a conveyor without traction element.
e) Can make fluid carrier construction.
