Course Objectives

1. To learn about scientific research methods
2. To be able to conduct literature survey
3. To gain data gathering and analysis skills
4. To analyze scientific publication types
5. To learn ethical principles in scientific researches and publications
6. To develop a scientific research proposal
7. To be able creatively present research ideas

Course Description

The course is designed to give students the necessary skills for conducting scientific research on their fields of interest. Research methods, data analysis, research ethics will be discussed within the scope of the course. Guest researches will be invited to present and discuss their works and research methodologies. The students are expected to conduct literature survey, present their research proposals, and to write a thesis proposal at the end of the course.
