Course Description

Transportation modes, cargo and cargo units, maritime transportation, transportation vehicles, port and terminal concept, port and terminal design, port and terminal facilities, ship-port relationship, port and terminal organization and administrative structure, port and terminal operations, port economics, analysis of handling productivity; capacity and cost of a port, port information systems and automation
