Dersin Amaçları		To provide basic knowledge on the spectrum of alternative fuels that exist, and their implications on global warming, energy sources, health hazard consequences etc. It is also aimed to give an overall understanding of the vehicular aspects of emissions and fundamental knowledge on alternative fuels
Dersin Tanımı		This course aims to draw on existing information and review the various alternative fuels that exist for road vehicles. For each alternative considered, benefits and disadvantages are discussed with respect to exhaust emissions, energy consumption, fuel production and distribution implications and vehicular modifications that may be necessary.
Dersin Çıktıları		• Fundamental knowledge on Alternative Fuels • Ability to assess the implications of a specific alternative fuel through a term paper study for a specific fuel • Ability to examine the parameters that differentiate alternative fuels for road vehicles
