ICM 366E - Interior Arch.Desgn Studio III

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is;
1. To develop concepts for interior design
2. To produce and develop a solution by examining the interior design problem through logical and intuitive queries.
3. To discuss the issues of image and identity as a design input in the interior architectural environment
4. Designing service-oriented, large-scale and mixed-function private / public interiors

Course Description

Planning-programming decisions that create data for interior design; questioning the relationship between the concepts of function, form and technology and interior design at different scales; needs analysis and evaluation; a holistic consideration of the components / elements that make up the interior experience; conceptual research, formal expression and application studies on interior design environmental design; museum, hotel, school, clinic, office etc. design of service-oriented, large-scale and mixed-function interiors.
