Course Objectives
1 - To provide fundamental understanding of Gis technology and applications,
2 - To address issues associated with the planning application of Gis
3 - To provide skills for Gis softwares.
Course Description
This course is designed to address issues associated with the application of GIS (Geographical Information System). GIS refers to computer systems designed for the input, storage, analysis and presentation of spatial information and spatially related text or numerical data. The course will provide you with a fundamental understanding of GIS theory, technology, applications, implementation and related issues.
