MET 374 - Process Metallurgy
Course Objectives
Transport phenomena and properties in metallurgical processes, fluid statics and dynamics, dimensional analysis and reactor design, heat and mass transfer from stationary medium, heat and mass transfer in conductive fluid systems, numerical methods and computer applications
Course Description
Process Metallurgy is a medium-level process engineering course in Metallurgical and Materials Science education. It is aimed to describe many metallurgical systems in detail. Topics covered in the course will be supported by examples. It is possible to see this course as an interdisciplinary course for engineers.
