1. To familiarize students with selected inorganic and organic chemical technologies as well as the rafination methods in chemical engineering (1)
2. To train students to prepare and use process flow diagrams (2)
3. To train students to search on the Internet an in the library (4)
4. To familiarize students with the effect of the chemical processes on the health, safety and environment (4)
5. To help students to develop conscience on engineering ethics (5)
