Course Objectives

Calculation of internal forces and displacements for statically determinate structures.

Course Description

First, the method of calculation of internal forces for simple and compound frames, trusses, Gerber beams, three hinged archs and then construction of influence lines and calculation of displacements by virtual work principle will be given.
