GMI 392E - Long Term Sea Training

Course Objectives

This course comprises the following topics performed during the 6-month long onboard training within the framework of STCW: Ship main and auxiliary machinery and associated control systems, ship pipe-line systems, electrical, electronic and control systems, operation, maintenance and repair of related engines and systems, engine room watchkeeping, internal communication systems, hand tools and measuring instruments, machine tools, pollution prevention requirements, leadership and teamwork skills, safety of ship, crew and environment.
