Course Objectives		1. To teach about fundamental of strength material. 2. To teach about stresses on materials. 3. To teach about strength in material and fatigue strength.
Course Description		Introduction to strength of materials; tensile, compression, shear and torsion stresses. Breaking hypothesis. Pure bending and torsion. Single, double and triple axis stress and distortion. Elastic strain. Fatigue strength in material.
