Course Objectives
To endow the students with the ability of recognizing and solving the fluid problems they may encounter in practice by giving them an application oriented course.
Course Description
Concept of fluid, fluid as a continuum. Velocity field. Euler and Lagrange Method. Basic equations: Momentum equation, continuity equation. Hydrostatics. Fluid dynamics: Euler equation, Bernoulli Equation. Dimensional analysis and similarity. Frictionless incompressible flow. Viscous flow.
