Course Objectives

Introduce the fundemantal principles of geochemistry to the earth science students with an emphasis on how chemical principles are used to study Earth Sciences ; provide information about source and distribution of elements in various parts of earth along with ions activity and isotope ratio in such environments; the hydrosphere of Earth and the interaction between sediments, soils, the biosphere, the atmosphere and the hydrosphere (c) evolution of Earth and the solar system;
