Course Objectives Petrography course is for the undergraduate student of Geological and Mining Engineering departments. The main aims of this course are as follows; Occurrence of the magmatic and metamorphic rocks, types of the magmatic and metamorphic rocks, classification of these rocks.
Course Description Petrography course may be described as the mode of occurrences and classifications of the magmatic and metamorphic rocks. This course in not cover the sedimentary rocks.
