To provide basic information about what kind of problems students may encounter within the scope of the geophysics profession and what kind of geophysical solutions they can produce.

Course Description

Introduction to the profession of geophysics and its effects on economic/social life. Introduction to geophysical methods used in understanding the Earth and exploring underground resources. Examination of geophysical methods and field studies with examples.
