TUR 101 - Turkish Language I

Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to approach the language in terms of philosophical, sociological and psychological aspects in general and to introduce Turkish as an important language of civilization and culture at the undergraduate level.

Course Description

Turkish Language I course consists of basic subjects, such as the definition of language, language-culture, language-society, language-thought relations, determination of the place and importance of Turkish language among the world languages, introducing the historical periods of Turkish language, introducing the structural features of the Turkish language.
