Course Objectives

1) To create long-term awareness about community volunteer services
2) To get to know the community, develop our social skills and sense of responsibility
3) To get to know the organizations working in the field of community volunteering
4) To become aware of the problems of the community through volunteer work within public institutions and civil society organizations

Course Description

The Concept of Volunteering and Volunteer Management, Key Areas of Volunteering (Disaster and Emergency Management, Environment, Education and Culture, Sports, Health and Social Services), Project Development Related to Volunteer Work and Participation in Volunteer Work in the Field (Public Institutions, Local Governments, Civil Society Organizations)
