Course Description

This course introduces fashion design students to the use of statistics as a decision-making and research tool in the fashion industry. Emphasis is placed on applying descriptive and inferential statistical methods to real-world problems in textiles, apparel production, consumer behavior, and trend forecasting. Students will learn to analyze data sets using statistical software and to communicate results in a professional fashion context.
