HBM 512 - Scientific Computing II
Course Objectives
This course aims to provide students with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical experience to effectively solve computational problems encountered in various fields of science and engineering.
Course Description
1. Giving information about the scope and applications of scientific computing
2. Providing sufficient mathematical background to understand the algorithms used in scientific calculations.
3. To convey information about the condition number, convergence rate and stability of scientific computing problems and related algorithms.
4. Teaching numerical algorithms for problems that cannot be solved by direct methods in science and engineering
5. Improving students' skills in developing, applying and analyzing numerical algorithms with various scientific programming languages
