BIL 109 - Computer

Course Objectives

1) To transfer selected musical notations to the musical notation program, regardless of the differences in music genres and forms.
2) To consolidate the knowledge of the essentials of music and different styles, universal music terminology.
3) Recognition of musical notation styles from different musical periods and cultures, and learning of technical skills in the program.
3) To gain experience in how to transfer composed pieces in different musical genres through the program.

Course Description

The course covers how to notate musical scores of different genres and styles into software using a notation writing program. In order to gain practice throughout the semester, monophonic and polyphonic pieces will be written to software.
