ZMG 608E - Numerical Methods in Geotechnical Engineering
Course Objectives
1. The course aims to help students to develop a basis for a deeper understanding of soil behaviour.
2. It is aimed to provide students with an overview of constitutive models developed for soil behaviour and their correct and appropriate application in numerical methods mainly by finite element analysis.
3. To help students to develop skills and senses in the post-processing, assessment and interpretation of the numerical data produced.
Course Description
Understanding of the theoretical foundations and practical implications and evaluations of numerical methods utilized in Geotechnical Engineering with the help of application of these methods.
