Course Objectives
To introduce design students with data integrated design models,
to develop integrated design skills
Course Description
Hands-on collaborative BIM projects are critical to preparing students for future roles in the rapidly
changing fields of design and construction. This course is designed to develop the necessary understanding of BIM
technology, collaboration techniques, data management, nD modeling and trajectories of BIM development in the
future.
Course Outcomes
to learn the key BIM concepts with reference to texts from the literature;
? to understand BIM dimensions beyond 3D and their applications in projects;
? to learn the main principles of project organization and teamwork in BIM environment;
? to understand BIM utilization in current and future practice.
