Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to provide students to
- Understand GNSS general units(GPS, Galileo, Glonass, Beidou, Space-Control-User segments, Receiver and antenna types)
- GNSS basic components (Coordinate systems, datum, orbits, signal, time, atmosphere, etc.)
- GNSS basic theory (integer ambiguity, double and triple differences, cycle slip detection, etc.) and positioning (absolute PDOP and GDOP, GPS surveying techniques, etc.)
- GNSS error sources and the elimination methods of the errors
- GNSS surveying (coordinate, elevation, C1, C2, C3, etc.)
- Evaluation and adjustment of GNSS data
- Satellite or Space based surveying techniques other then GNSS like VLBI, SLR, LLR, DORIS
