Course Objectives

The learning objectives of this course are given below:
1. Giving the basic knowledge to student about waste and biomass potantails in the world and Turkey and raising the awareness .
2. To be informed of student about Compost,, RDF,,biogas, biodiesel, bioalcohol production processes with the biological technologies
3. To be informed of student about energy convertion with thermal convertion technologies about combustion,gasification,pyrolis and torrefaction and teheir cost analysis.

Course Description

Dünyada ve Türkiiye'de atık ve biokütle üretim potansiyelleri, atıkların yönetimi, karakterizasyonu, biyolojik dönüşüm teknolojileri, kompost, RDF, biogaz, biyodizel, biyoalkol üretim prosesleri, termal yöntemler, stokiometrik hesaplar, yakma, gazlaştırma, piroliz, sentez gazı ve yağları üretmek, hidrojen ve CO2 depolama, BAT teknolojileri, döngüsel ekonomi, ekonomik analizler, atıkların arıtımında BAT teknolojileri
