To study settlement and architectural characteristics of the rural architectural heritage in Turkey and to have knowledge about research methodologies

Course Description

Basic concepts of rural architectural heritage; introduction of rich rural architectural heritage of Turkey; explanation of methods of researching a village settlement with examples; representation of different architectural traditions from different regions of Turkey and explanation of research methodologies; explanation of problems of preservation of rural architectural heritage in Turkey
