UUM 508E - Finite Element Analysis in Structures
Course Objectives
1. Calculation of finite element matrices for 1D, 2D and 3D structures.
2. Assembly of element matrices into global matrices and application of boundary conditions.
3. Solution of the resulting equation system, obtaining nodal displacements, reaction forces and element stresses.
4. Interpretation of results, error analysis.

Static, dynamic and vibration analysis of structures with the finite element method.
