3. To demonstrate the need-based methods for the valorisation of waste/wastewater in different industries

Course Description

Bio-refinery, circular economy, bio-economy, zero waste concepts, waste/wastewater valorisation methods, valorisation of whey, lignocellulosic waste, fish waste, meat industry and animal by-products and agricultural industry wastes, alternative bioplastic production methods, single cell protein production from waste/wastewater, purple phototrophic bacteria-based processes, conversion of waste into bioenergy-based molecules.
