Course Objectives

The students will be informed about;
1. the evaluation, presentation, research and discussion of the contemporary professional topics and about the subjects to be considered for performing a successful presentation,
2. how to perform successful presentations.

Course Description

Seminars are given by lecturers, invited speakers and students who are registered to the course. Students' presentations may be within the scope of their thesis topics. Tips for a successful presentation. Steps of presentation preparation period. Importance of communication in presentation. Usage of voice during a presentation. Usage of body language during a presentation. Importance of gathering information about the audience. Importance of timing in presentation. Visuality in presentation. Selection and usage of visual aids. Importance of stage-setting in presentation. Management of question & answer part.
