Course Objectives 1. To introduce topics related to science, technology and society;
2. To grasp the views of philosophers, sociologists and anthropologists of science and technology;
3. To develop the ability to communicate and discuss issues related to science, technology and society effectively;
4. To develop the ability to read and understand texts, make research and write.
Course Description Science, technology and society relations; the distinction between science and non-science, justifiability and falsifiability, science and technology as ideology, technological rationality, autonomy of technology, critique of technological determinism, social constructivism and actor-network theory, science and laboratory.
Course Outcomes 1. To introduce topics related to science, technology and society;
