Course Objectives

Course Description

Classification of pumps. Dynamic and positive displacement pumps. Pump components, fittings, pipeline components, control devices and seals. Valves. Ship pipelines. Lubricating oil, fuel oil and diesel oil separators. Oily water separators. Air compressors. Refrigeration units and provision stores. Evaporators (Fresh water generators). Incinerators. Sewage treatment plants. Steering gears.
