Dersin Amaçları

The objective of this course is to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in power electronics circuit design. Students will learn how to analyze, design, and implement power electronic converters and associated circuits, with a strong emphasis on schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, and hardware modeling. The course aims to bridge the gap between fundamental theory and practical engineering applications.

This course introduces the principles of power electronics converters and focuses on practical aspects of circuit design for real-world applications. Topics include converter topologies, design considerations, schematic design methods, PCB layout techniques, component selection criteria, thermal and EMI considerations, and the creation of circuit solid models. The course combines lectures with applied design practices and demonstrations to develop hands-on engineering skills.
