The objectives of the course are:
1. to teach the basics of knitting technology the students
2. to inform students about different knitted fabrics and their properties

Introduction to knitting technology, terms and definitions, analysis of knitted structures, properties of yarns used in knitted fabrics, faults occurring in weft and warp knitting production and their probable causes.
