Dersin Tanımı		Bu ders Dünya Edebiyatından seçilmiş 12 kısa öykünün yazılı ve sözel incelemeleri üzerine odaklanır. Edebi yapı ve her öykünün yazıldığı dönem ile ilgili yapılan incelemeler, her öykünün yazıldığı dönemdeki bilimsel düşünce, felsefi ve ekonomik akımlarla olan doğrudan ve tartışılmaz bağlantısını ispatlamaya yöneliktir.
Dersin Çıktıları		I. öğrenciler edebiyat eserlerini anlama, II değişmekte olan dünyaya karşı bakış açılarını farklı öyküleri inceleyerek geliştirme, III. eserlerin yazıldıkları dönemdeki felsefi bakış, bilimsel düşünce ve ekonomik akımlarla olan bağlantılarını kavrama, IV. not tutma, ve V. edebi eleştiri yapma becerilerini geliştirir.
