Course Objectives 1. To provide knowledge the properties of ion exchangers
2. To provide knowledge the properties of inorganic ion exchangers
3. Synthesis of cation and anion exchange resins, their properties
4. Equilibrium, kinetic in ion exchangers
5. To provide a background in the theory of ion exchange that are important to ion chromatographic separations

9. To teach various dedectors using with ion chromatograph

Course Description Principles of ion exchange, inorganic and organic ion exchangers, ion exchange resins, synthesis of strong and weak acid cation exchangers and strong and weak base anion exchangers, their properties, degree of cross-bonding, swelling, capacity, selectivity, equilibrium in ion exchange, kinetic in ion exchange,
the theory of ion exchange, the matrix, charged groups, resolution in ion exchange chromatography, capacity factor, efficiency, selectivity, Principles of Ion Chromatographic separation and dedection, basis for separation, components of an IC instrument, separations of cations, separation of anions, ion exchange resins, Separation of Cations, Separations of Anions, Ion-Exchange Resins, Anion Exchangers, Cation Exchangers, Donnan Equilibria, Selectivity Characterictics; Breakthrough Curve and Performance of Column
Course Outcomes Ph.D. students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skills and competency in the following subjects;
